Swedish sawmiller Rörvik Timber is holding an extraordinary general meeting, where a decision is expected on its rights issue to raise much-needed capital for reorganisation.

The EGM will take place at Rörvik’s Huskvarna headquarters on December 15. Shareholders who wish to attend must be registered in the Euroclear Sweden’s share register by December 9 and notify the company no later than that date.

Weak market conditions coupled with increased sales in markets with longer payment terms led to a squeeze on liquidity earlier this year, resulting in the business filing for bankruptcy.
