Rörvik Timber has announced further production cuts at its mills.

The sawmiller will reduce shifts at Boxholm, Myresjö and Rorvik from two shifts to 10 hours of production during the first quarter.

The cutbacks affect 25 staff at Boxholm, 25 at Myresjö and 15 at Rörvik. The company had already announced the suspension of production at Linghem.

Together with previous curtailment announcements, Rörvik’s output has now been decreased by 40%.

The group said sales in a number of markets were unprofitable.
