PVCu windows and door manufacturer Sash Windows UK has launched an engineered timber joinery products arm.
Sash Timber, a subsidiary of the Bradford-based company, is using engineered timber components from Timbmet to manufacture a new range of windows and doors.
Sash Timber director Jason Lee said using engineered hardwood and softwood components overcame the “traditional” maintenance disadvantage of timber joinery products.
The company has invested in CNC machinery and is offering 10-year guarantees on its products, which include stormproof, flush casement and vertical sliding sash windows, plus doors, French doors and bi-folding doors.
Secured by Design-approved locking systems are featured as standard throughout the range.
