Puhoswood, the sole UK supply partner for iLevel Trus Joist engineered wood products, has broken its silence since the takeover of iLevel’s European business by Finnforest earlier this year.
In a statement, the company said the takeover obviously impacted all companies with iLevel partnering arrangements but declared “business as usual”.
“Arrangements have been made with Finnforest to secure a seamless supply service to distributors and customers during the transition process,” said Puhoswood managing director Andy Moore.
“Longer term, we naturally need to evaluate the best opportunities in our highly competitive marketplace for the continued success of our customers, distributors and the team at Puhoswood.”
Puhoswood, which also has a substantial chipboard flooring business, became iLevel’s sole supply partner in 2006.
