The European Federation of the Parquet Industry (FEP) says its public relations campaign for parquet flooring is right on target.

Launched in March 2001, a total of 9.5 million publications were recorded up until February 2002. This number was exceeded in the first five months of the second year and by July 2002 the total number of publications surpassed 9.7 million, increasing to a total of 19.3 million in September.

FEP says that with five more months of the second year to go, it expects the publication rate of various articles to be three times bigger than in the first year.

PR coverage has been achieved in the trade and end user press as well as news and advertising papers.

•The General Assembly of the European Federation of the Parquet Industry and the European Parquet Congress will be held in Prague on June 12-14 2003.
