In response to customer demand timber frame specialist Potton has added a third floor to its Rectory range which could increase the market value of a finished property by £100,000 in some areas of the country.

Potton sales and marketing director Joe Martoccia said that during 2003 25% of the company’s customer base converted the attic space into additional bedrooms, offices and playrooms.

He added: “Planners throughout the UK are looking favourably at three-storey properties, and UK homeowners are demanding high quality, eco-friendly, individual homes.”

Mr Martoccia said all Potton timber frame kits have been awarded the UK Timber Frame Association‘s Q-Mark Plus and are approved under Ireland’s NSAI quality scheme.

The Three Storey Rectory range features five designs which enable builders and developers to gain maximum return from a smaller plot investment.
