Planners in King’s Lynn have rejected a property owner’s plea to keep new PVCu replacement windows in his conservation area house, according to Lynn News.

Timber sash windows had been removed from the house without planning permission. A complaint was made to the council and the owner made a retrospective planning application to keep the plastic windows.

But permission and an appeal were both dismissed by the council.

Kings Lynn Civic Society made the move of giving publicity to the decision to raise awareness of local and national planning guidance.
