Pfleiderer is to pull out of a joint venture with Austrian panel maker Binder Holz.
The two have been producing MDF at a factory near Salzburg that is capable of producing 200,000m³ per year. But as Pfleiderer’s focus is on its home German market it has decided to withdraw support from Hallein because its main markets are in Austria and Italy.
