The UK’s largest housebuilder Persimmon plc says it continues to be encouraged by the resilient property market and predicts another successful year in 2003.
Speaking at the company’s first AGM, chairman Duncan Davidson reported steady price growth of homes in all regions outside the London area and £170m of sales value already contracted or reserved for the second half of 2003.
The company, which will issue a first-half trading update on June 25, builds up to 10% of its homes in timber frame, mostly in Scotland.
