The Performance Timber Products Group Ltd, parent company of the Performance Window Group, has bought the order book and intellectual property of windows business Dale Joinery (Lichfield), which went into administration last month.
The company will trade as Dale Windows alongside Performance Window Group’s Mumford & Wood and TimberWindows.com from a site next to Mumfords in Essex.
Dale Windows managing director Mark de Rozarieux said the company had suffered during the downturn and difficult credit affected its finances which led to administration.
“But we’ve built a significant share of the timber windows and doors market serving medium sized housebuilders, housing associations and builders merchants,” he said.
Dale said it had a “strong inventory of live quotations and enquiries” and that a new sales team was being formed.
