The event, organised by the certification scheme, will feature a series of presentations by PEFC staff and timber merchants who have opted for PEFC certification, including Crown Timber and James Latham.
PEFC International’s Oliver Scholz will bring an international persepective, while PEFC UK’s Hilary Khawam will detail growing demand for certified timber in the UK market. Willie Walker, PEFC UK’s national secretary, will focus on chain of custody certification
A panel dicussion will give delegates a chance to ask questions about the certification process.
PEFC UK said the event, to be held at the Thistle Hotel, Euston on June 13, will help companies better understand the importance of chain of custody certification.
