The world’s largest forest certification scheme is spreading its message from the rooftops of Paris in a new green advertising campaign.

The billboard message “PEFC” and “Pour nos forets” (for our forests) is made up of more than 200 plants and the framework is constructed of PEFC-certified timber.

The billboard, which is more than 20m high and weighs about three tonnes, will be a fixture on the Parisian skyline for two years.

PEFC will officially celebrate its 10th anniversary on November 12 with a dinner event in Paris, preceded by a global stakeholder dialogue entitled “Exploring issues facing the forest sector: New global opportunities for forest certification”.
