The PEFC Council has appointed Thorsten Arndt as head of communications.
Mr Arndt has more than seven years’ experience on issues related to sustainable development. Prior to joining the PEFC Council, he was communications manager for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development the world’s leading business organisation dealing exclusively with business and sustainable development, and from 1998-2001 he was knowledge and information management associate at the UN Development Programme in New York.
Mr Arndt’s appointment coincides with the PEFC’s relocation to Geneva.
