Performance Doorset Solutions (PDS) has supplied 200 bespoke timber windows for the restoration of a 17th century mill in Lancashire.
Clegg Hall Mill, part of the Clegg Hall listed buildings on the Rochdale canal in Littleborough, has been developed into apartments but the renovation had to incorporate the original style with modern functionality.
The factory-finished windows PDS supplied featured a composite bonding bar, high-performance security hardware, and single glazing. Each window was factory finished in a heritage green, high-build protective coating on the outside, with white on the interior.
Many of the windows needed to be installed from scaffolding platforms erected in the canal.
