A European Commission supported initiative to improve young people’s knowledge of forest-based industries has been launched.
Projects that meet set criteria will be awarded a “Wood & Paper – Opportunities for Generations” label, signalling that they are quality initiatives.
The activities are supported by the Forest-based Industries network which aims to promote the economic importance and sustainability of the sector and highlight the many career opportunities it offers.
