Kronospan has produced a new brochure, liveried delivery vehicles, a CD ROM and two dedicated websites to back the launch of its Kolorband range of products.

Two Renault lorries emblazoned with the Kolorband logo are also now on the road making daily deliveries.

To coincide with the launch, panel distributor S Silverman & Son (Importers) Ltd is undertaking a major marketing push focusing on melamine-faced boards. The company has sent ‘stress test’ cards to existing and potential customers. Recipients are invited to place their thumb on a liquid crystal pad on the card. Different colours denote stress levels, ranging from black for stressed to blue for relaxed. An accompanying leafleft recommends that, for a more peaceful existence, customers should contact Silverman for their panel products need.

The Kolorband collection contains hundreds of products, from MFC and MDF to new high-pressure laminates to match the existing melamine selection and new laminate flooring and edging tapes. It is being marketed to specifiers, exhibition organisers and in the trade press.
