Offsite construction specialist Panaloc Ltd is to be officially launched on October 18 at the company’s headquarters in Manchester.
At the event founder Eric Dean will detail the Panaloc process and those in attendance will see the company’s manufacturing facility in operation, including design and CNC manufacturing.
Panaloc has the sole UK rights to use OSB4 from Swiss manufacturer Kronoply and already employs 200 people, with 50 of those involved in two project and design management teams.
Panaloc said that the development of the production technique and its structural products is “a result of an extensive research and development programme” costing £12m, that the system is designed to be “truly portable” for use at satellite operations, and that the importing of OSB4 from Europe is “breathing new life” into the Manchester shipping canal.
In May, Panaloc took delivery of the world’s largest Combilift forklift truck, which has the capacity to carry 14 tonnes and was custom-built to help handling and loading of products and materials at the company’s factory.
