Palgrave Brown has added a 19th site to its rapidly-expanding network.

The roof truss producer and engineered timber specialist is investing more than £250,000 in refurbishment and new equipment at the leased site in Doncaster. Production of roof trusses is due to begin in April.

Director Steve Pinner said: ‘Doncaster is the latest site to be chosen for its strategic location, near our Rochdale and Darlington operations and boosting our service in the busy west and south Yorkshire areas.’

Employees are being recruited and equipment and the company’s nationally networked computer system will be installed shortly. A team of qualified designers will be based at Doncaster.

Site manager is Russell Fawcett, promoted from assistant manager at Darlington.

Palgrave Brown has invested more than £10m during its expansion programme in the past three years.
