The Brinscall-based company is supplying roof trusses, TJI joists and staircases for the St James Group’s housing development at Worcester Park, Surrey, which includes a 480-home residential scheme called The Hamptons, as well as community, business and leisure facilities.
Palgrave Brown said it was initially selected to provide roof trusses for phase two of the project involving 133 town houses and flats, but this was later increased to include TJI joists and staircases.
The company said its Forest Stewardship Council and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes chain of custody certification met the St James Group’s criteria for sustainable development.
Palgrave Brown is manufacturing Mansard-style roofs for some of the Shaker-style houses. The roofs feature two slopes, the lower almost vertical to allow extra roof space for attic rooms.
