Two new modules for OSB and MDF have been added to wood for good‘s Online Learning resource.
Coillte Panel Products worked with the timber promotion organisation to develop the modules, which include grading requirements, manufacturing processes, design potential and possible applications.
Geoff Rhodes, marketing and business development manager at Coillte, said that the company had chosen to develop training modules for the board products as it was essential to ensure that the right information was available to the people specifying and using them.
“Specifying the right product for the right job is important for all wood products – not just OSB and MDF,” he said.
“Wood for good’s Online Learning resource will ensure the right information reaches the right people.”
Online Learning is designed as an education portal offering architects and other specifiers 24-hour access to timber-specific information, and offers a means to gain accreditation for their knowledge.
