Oregon Timber Frame Ltd has appointed David Maxwell as managing director to succeed John Merry, who has retired after 45 years in the building industry.
Mr Maxwell is a chartered engineer, and has extensive experience of the property sector, having worked in property development, construction and consultancy. He is a past chairman of the Institution of Structural Engineers in Scotland and holds a number of non-executive positions in property and construction-related companies.
Mr Maxwell praised his predecessor’s success in building the business over the past 10 years, describing it as “a remarkable achievement and a tough act to follow”.
