Clifton Joinery claims that membership of the British Woodworking Federation‘s Timber Windows Accreditation Scheme has led to an increase in opportunities to chase work.
Managing director Stephen Newton said: “We joined because the scheme has genuinely strict vetting and policing of its members. It’s not just window dressing and that makes it worth a lot as an organisation.”
Mr Newton said the number of enquiries from specifers who prefered to deal with BWF Timber Window Accreditation Scheme members had risen and added that qualifying for membership had opened up opportunities to tender for substantial contracts.
