The ONS has also made major revisions to UK construction output for the first three quarters of 2013. The Construction Products Association said housing market output in October rose 6.2% from the previous month and was up 16.9% compared with a year earlier.
Private commercial work, the largest construction sector, was up 0.8% compared to September and grew 8.7% from a year ago.
