Architect Jeffrey Powell Associates said the finish needed to ensure protection against UV rays and eliminate algae and fungal decay.
Two coats of Osmo’s Oak UV-Protection Oil was specified for the frame, door and windows to prevent surface drying and brittleness.
It also provided a satin-matt, clear finish to prevent the wood from developing a grey appearance.
Internally Osmo Polyx-Oil was used on the oak frame and floor Top Oil on worktops and Wood WxFinish Creativ on skirtings.
