Product manager Richard Pashley joined NTS recently to head up metal web joist design and sales. He has 20 years’ experience in engineered wood products, as well as being committed to maintaining high levels of quality and customer service.
“Metal web joists are a popular choice for contractors and self-builders for floors and roofs,” he said.
“We are finding increased interest from house builders due to changes in building regulations and the Future Homes Standard. The joists are ideal for accommodating services between floors including mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems.”
NTS is a member of the Trussed Rafter Association (TRA) and is one of the companies actively involved in the development of TRA’s designer development Programme for metal web joists.
