Newcastle City Council has used 780m2 of Sterling Roofdek OSB 3 from Norbord as a protective sports hall wall covering able to withstand games of five-a-side football.
The 18mm product was screwed into place and decorated at Walker Technology College’s sports hall.
The council specified Sterling Roofdek instead of plywood after using it successfully as sarking board on a roofing project.
