The first certificates in the UK for building hardware which conforms to European requirements have been awarded.
Warrington Certification Ltd has been working with Allgoods plc and Ingersoll Rand Architectural Hardware to attest conformity of their panic exit and emergency exit devices to EN1125 and EN 179 and achieve the CE mark.
The CE mark will enable the companies to comply with requirements of the Construction Products Directive and ensures their continued acceptance in the wider European market place.
