The investment was financed by the Municipality of Sundsvall and provides deeper water for end-loading ro-ro vessels, amongst other facilities.
SCA Transforest will have an extra 10,000m2 of storage at the quayside, dedicated to the transportation of forest products.

“We are also researching innovative methods of transporting greater volumes of specialised developed timber products for industrial customers, and this work is complemented by the new ro-ro facilities at Tunadal.”
