A new panel products importer, Altripan UK Ltd, has been launched in Ledbury.
The venture, formed out of an alliance with leading European sheet material importer Altripan NV, is headed by directors Matthew Walduck, Andy Simpson and operations manager Colin Tetley, who between them have 50 years experience in the panel products and timber trade.
Its first 6,000m3 shipment of mixed Chinese plywood products has already arrived in the UK.
“We are thrilled with the positive response from within the timber trade concerning the launch of our new company,” said Mr Simpson. “We look forward to establishing long-term relationships with both suppliers and customers to enable Altripan UK to grow and become successful.”
Mr Walduck said the company was delighted to have Altripan NV as a partner in the venture. “We can utilise their expertise and knowledge in the sheet material market to enable us to offer the highest service level to our customers.”
