Waste wood from mining operations is to be processed by an Australian community sawmill and turned into saleable timber.
The Nanum Tawap mill on Cape York is expanding its operations after being granted A$84,000 by the Queensland government.
The extra processing is expected to create much-needed jobs in the Cape’s Aboriginal community.
