Mr Walters has seven years’ experience in the timber merchant industry.
"I aim to make a real impact at the Scunthorpe branch and hope to make it one of Howarth’s top-performing outlets," he said.
"Introducing new ranges and products will help us to expand our stock and our customer base, which in turn will see us record robust sales figures."
