Jeremy Vibert has taken on a new extended role at TRADA as head of marketing and information services.

“Information is absolutely central to everything we do and providing the right information both for our members and for the wider marketplace will always be a prime objective,” he said. “Over the next 12 months, the high quality technical information we produce will be a key tool in a vigorous membership drive.”

Even at a time when the construction industry is facing a marked slowdown in sales, TRADA membership is growing “However, we will continue to invest in research and information, but equally we must communicate to members and to industry that we are spending our budget wisely and well.”

Mr Vibert added: “Forging closer links with other industry bodies such as UK Timber Frame Association, The Timber Trade Federation and wood for good will also help ensure that the information we provide is totally relevant to our members and will continue to underpin and develop the market for timber and wood products.”

Mr Vibert joined TRADA Technology as marketing manager in 1994 and has been manager of information services for the past five years.
