Specialist MDF manufacturer Neat Concepts Ltd says a growing trend towards curves is winning it business in the commercial interiors market.

The north London company claims its Neatform Bendy MDF product has helped fuel the trend, with exotic veneers now able to be pre-pressed onto panels, allowing complex marquetry patterns to be achieved on curved surfaces.

Neat Concepts, which has a presence in the North American, Canadian and European markets, says the fashion for curves is global.

Martin James, Neat Concepts’ North Amercia sales manager, said curved surfaces have aesthetic benefits, are safer and less likely to be chipped or snagged.

Neatform Bendy MDF has been used to build reception desks, office shelving, walls and cabinets.
