The members of ANREPA (Asociacion Nacional de Recicladores de Palets) spent two days visiting three NAPD member sites in the Midlands – the Pallet Company, Kingsbury Pallets and Giffords Recycling.
The eight-strong delegation was said to be particularly interested in the NAPD’s work on ‘new life’ packaging and its focus on health and safety.
Members of both organisations considered the visit a success, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and greater political bargaining power. ANREPA is said to be keen to return the hospitality, and expects to arrange a visit to Spain in early 2007.
