The announcement follows the recent €140m sale of Moelven by Metsäliitto Group.
“We have enjoyed serving our Scandinavian customers in close co-operation with Moelven for many years,” said Ole Salvén, Metsäliitto Group executive vice-president, director of wood products industry.
“The agreements that we have signed will ensure continuity for our customers – they can buy the Finnforest products they need from the same supplier as before.”
In Denmark, Moelven sells Finnforest building and plywood solutions, as well as sawn timber, while in Sweden it sells Finnforest building and plywood products.
Moelven’s Norwegian business includes the distribution of Finnforest building products such as Kerto LVL, glulam and I-joists.
Moelven Industrier ASA is now owned by a Norwegian consortium.
