Midlands-based garden and landscaping products specialist M&M Timber Ltd predicts it will almost double sales in the new year.

The company said it appointed at least 30 new stockists after a highly successful presence at GLEE – the garden and leisure exhibition – and that there is still more to come.

Sales director Ian Rickhuss said two of the nation’s biggest garden centre groups are now on board and discussions are being held with other dealerships. A new-year recruitment programme is also planned and production levels will be raised accordingly.

Retail demand for M&M Timber’s all-British rustic garden products range accounted for more than £1.5m worth of orders in the first year of production.

Midlands-based Wyevale Garden Centres reports a combined retail sales record of almost £1m with M&M Timber products.
