Montague L Meyer Ltd (MLM) is to rejoin the Timber Trade Federation (TTF).

The company said it has been impressed with the TTF’s strategy, including the move to mandatory status of the Responsible Purchasing Policy supplier audit, as well as the federation’s “professional” management.

TTF president Kevin Hayes said the move represented a great endorsement for the federation’s work and provided a considerable boost at a challenging time for the timber industry.

“As a market leader in the UK wood-based panels industry, we are delighted that the TTF will once again represent our interests and concerns and look forward to a long-lasting, rewarding partnership,” said MLM chief executive Glenn McCardle.
