Scottish environment minister Michael Russell recently held a meeting with members of the Highand Forestry Forum (HFF) to discuss local forestry issues.
The event, at the Highland Hotel, Aviemore, included Mr Russell meeting HFF chairman Ian Ross and Bob Dunsmore, conservator at the Highland Conservatory.
Mr Russell also used his trip to the Highlands to visit the Between Two Worlds forest-based art show, which featured work from culptor and environmental artist Diane Maclean, light artist Malcolm Innes and Highland composer Bob Pegg.
