More than 13,000m2 of Egger HDX P6/Class 0 foil reverse 38mm fire protected chipboard has been installed as mezzanine flooring at a 32,000m2 southern distribution centre for Matalan in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The HDX boards were pre-cut into 2ft2 panels and surface coated with a clear acrylic lacquer to provide additional durability and prevent damage to clothing stock.
The flooring will be capable of withstanding long-term pallet racking loading of up to 0.5 tonnes per m2.
