A particleboard plant operated by Oao Dok Krasnyj Oktjabr in Tyumen, Russia, will be upgraded by Metso Panelboard.
The modernisation, intended to improve panel quality and reduce production costs, includes delivery of a complete gluing system with glue kitchen, flake dosing and resin blending, plus a ClassiFormer forming station. Process automation technology will also be installed, while press and flaking processes are to be modified.
The company, which will receive the equipment in June, uses most of its particleboard for its own furniture factory, with the rest sold for local consumption.
