An online “timber shop” has been set up to help merchants who don’t currently have a website trading facility.
Timber-on-Line.Com Ltd’s www.timberbids.com shop allows merchants to set up their own custom online store, with payments through secure gateways.
The company’s Stuart Bonomy said the site had been operational for four months. A total of 409 registered users are currently listed for the site.
Timberbids brands itself as “the new way to buy and sell timber”.
