A £5.5m refurbishment of the Corinium Museum in Cirencester featured environmentally-friendly material from Weyerhaeuser.

The museum has increased its floor space by more than 50%, and Redman Design Associates created a range of features including balustrades, case plinths, display cases, scenic works, graphics and flooring.

Each of the 60 showcases has an internal Medite ZF MDF structure and is fabric lined, while all the plinths were made from Medite FR from Weyerhaeuser.

As well as meeting fire and safety requirements, Medite MDF can satisfy demanding environmental needs making it an increasingly popular choice for both new museums and those undergoing refurbishment.
