The product, made of Medite Exterior Grade MDF faced with high pressure laminate, has been installed at the Best Western Mount Pleasant Hotel in new and refurbished rooms.
“WetWall is becoming a very popular product, especially with hotels,” said Peter Gains, Arnold Laver‘s decorative surfaces product manager. “It’s quicker to install than tiles, easier to maintain and cost-effective.”
Perth-based WetWall manufacturer Shore Laminates said mould growth on tiling grout was a constant problem in hotel bathrooms. But it said the laminate surface of WetWall did not allow mould spores to grow.
