North-west residential homes provider McInerney Homes North West has begun to use timber frame units from Eleco Timber Frame, the fabrication arm of Eleco Building Products.
Peter Russell, managing director of McInerney Homes North West, said his company currently has 11 sites at various stages of development across the region.
He added: “With so many projects under way at one time it’s essential that we have the best suppliers and contractors working with us on all our developments.”
He said Eleco Timber Frame provided a product which ensured the build programme stayed on track and within budget.
Eleco plc director Paul Taylor said: “Timber frame is not new, but the structures offered by Eleco Timber Frame are changing the pace of the industry.
“As well as the stand-alone structure, which includes the timber frame, Eleco has provided a total solution to party acoustic regulations, using a combination of Ecojoist, the innovative open web floor joist system, and ElecoFloor, the acoustic floating floor system which McInerney Homes are now adopting.”
