FW Mason & Sons Ltd has introduced overtime working at its Colwick mills to keep pace with a surge in business.
The company said the current high demand followed a big fall in sales during the first few months of 2005.
Sales and marketing manager Pauline Morrison said: “Planed timber, wood mouldings and sheet materials, as well as decking products, are all in demand and extra overtime is necessary to ensure our prompt and reliable levels of service are maintained.”
Masons has noticed a sales increase throughout all its business areas, ranging from speciality markets to the independent retail sector.
