About 215m³ of greenheart and purpleheart was supplied by Aitken & Howard for the restoration of a West Sussex timber bridge officially reopened by the Duke of York on October 23.

The Grade II-listed Old Shoreham Tollbridge, which connects Shoreham and Lancing over the River Adur, was restored by building contractor JT Mackley in a £600,000 contract largely funded by lottery money.
