US home improvement chain Lowe’s plans to build a regional distribution centre in Oregon which could create up to 750 jobs.
The company has applied for planning permission to build a 1.4 million ft2 building on a 204 acre site in Lebanon.
City officials have welcomed potential new jobs to the town, which has suffered from a downturn in the timber industry.
