Around 1,100 buyers attended the two-day London Floor Show at Olympia 2.
Timber flooring companies exhibiting included Mildenhall-based Barham Wood Floor Sales, Reeve Flooring of Brancaster Staithe and French-based Panaget, which manufactures pre-finished engineered flooring.
Hatfield-based All in One Supplies, which supplies BonaKemi finishing products and abrasives, said: “This has been our first show and it has gone superbly, we have done lots of business and there has been a very good visitor attendance.”
The event, relaunched this year to include retail products, featured a seminar by BonaKemi Ltd on specification of finishes and maintenance products for wooden floors, while Reeve Flooring took a session on specifying hardwood flooring with underfloor heating.
Show director Cathy Oates said the combination of retail and contract products had proved a great success.
