Loggers went on a rampage in the Peruvian town of Puerto Maldonado in protest at new forestry laws.
Around 200 loggers blocked roads and burned government and conservation group buildings in the town. They claim the forestry changes could affect their living.
But the country’s natural resources institute INRENA says the changes are designed to help conserve the forests and increase productivity.
