Tricoya replaced the original exterior soffit and provided a stronger flooring element at the beach hut. Weather-resistance and durability were key specification criteria for the project.
The hut’s orginal materials had included particleboard and strawboard panels for the roof and flooring, alongside Scandinavian redwood for the claddings, steps and balcony.
SmartPly OSB3 18mm panels, also from Coillte Panel Products, were used as replacement flat roof elements.
